The new 2.2 Litre Diesel engine is tuned for a high power output and smooth drive. The new ZF eight-speed automatic transmission and Intelligent Stop/Start helps to reduce emissions and make this the most efficient Jaguar ever.

The result is a smaller oil pump, optimised efficiency at all speeds and strong low-speed torque. Innovative spray-guided fuel injection optimises the air-fuel mix for more efficient combustion.

The direct-injection 5.0 Litre V8 Supercharged engine, exclusive to the XFR, boasts a sixth-generation Eaton supercharger that enables it to produce a remarkable 510PS. The enhanced front air intakes and rotor geometry improve efficiency and reduce noise and vibration.
